We do not use Etsy data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Cayana Chrome Extension
The Cayana Chrome extension operates only on Etsy, Pinterest, and the Cayana application. It does not request access to unrelated websites or a user's general browsing history.
On Etsy, the extension may read public listing identifiers, titles, images, shop names, prices, tags, categories, views, favourites, and other public listing details needed to display listing analysis and research controls.
On Pinterest, the extension reads the public pin title, URL, and image only when the user chooses to save that pin to Cayana.
When a signed-in user saves an example, Cayana stores the selected public listing or pin snapshot together with the collection, research category, and optional comment supplied by the user. Users can edit or delete saved research and can delete entire collections from Cayana.
Extension preferences, such as whether enhancements and research controls are shown, are stored locally in the browser. Cayana uses extension data only to provide and improve the extension's visible research and analysis features. It is not sold, used for personalised advertising, or transferred to data brokers.
Data Storage and Security
With your permission, Cayana records your first arrival source, campaign and landing page, and associates them with your account when you sign up. Public pages also use Google Ads (Google tag) for advertising measurement. Google receives advertising click identifiers and website measurement data and may store advertising cookies. We do not enable personalised advertising or enhanced conversions, and do not send Etsy shop or listing content to Google. The Google tag is not loaded before you allow measurement.
You can decline optional measurement or withdraw your permission using Advertising cookie settings in the website footer. We remember this choice for six months. Basic aggregate website traffic and performance information may also be measured through privacy-focused hosting infrastructure.
Data is stored using reputable, industry-standard hosting providers.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Access to user data is restricted to what is necessary to operate and maintain the Service.
Users may revoke Cayana Studios' access to their Etsy shop at any time through their Etsy account settings.
Legal Basis (GDPR - EU Users)
For users located in the European Union, processing of personal data is based on:
Users may request:
Requests may be made by contacting us at the email below.
Performance of a contract (providing the Service)
Legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service
Consent for optional Google Ads advertising measurement
Access to their data
Correction of inaccurate data
Deletion of their data
Data Retention
User data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or comply with legal obligations.
Users can close their Cayana account from Settings. After they confirm, Cayana prepares the account, disables access, and starts a 14-day recovery period.
During recovery, the verified email address can request a link to cancel deletion. Cayana shops removed as part of that request are restored. Stripe subscriptions cancelled at period end are not restarted automatically.
After the recovery period, Cayana permanently removes or anonymises that account’s Cayana data. The user record is anonymised in place rather than hard-deleted. Etsy listings and the Etsy shop itself are not deleted. Necessary billing and audit records may be retained without the original email address.
After completion, the former email address and Google sign-in can be used to create a new Cayana account. They cannot reopen the deleted account.
Upon revocation of Etsy authorization, Cayana Studios will no longer access shop data.
Third-Party Service Providers
Cayana Studios uses trusted third-party service providers (such as hosting infrastructure and payment processors) to operate the Service.
These providers process data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.
International Users
Cayana Studios is operated from France.
If you access the Service from outside France, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in accordance with applicable laws in France and the European Union.
